Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd. recruitment for experienced Mechanical Supervisors for a major refinery turnaround at Fawley Refinery, Hampshire. Supervising installation and maintenance, coordinating pipefitters, welders and subcontractors, and ensuring safe, high-quality work to programme.

The role runs mid-September to early November 2026, with 60 hours per week on a CIS or PAYE basis, including day and night shifts. Lodging support is available where applicable; UK-wide applicants are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous refinery, petrochemical, power generation or heavy industrial experience.
• Proven experience supervising mechanical teams on industrial shutdowns or turnaround projects.
• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport.
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
• Ability to pass mandatory Drug & Alcohol screening and site medical requirements.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervising mechanical installation and maintenance activities during the turnaround.
• Coordinating Pipefitters, Welders, Riggers and subcontractors.
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
• Liaising with client representatives and site management.
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture at all times
