Job summary

inspiring vet care in the UK is seeking a Patient Pathway Nurse to join our RVN team at Hamilton Specialist Referrals. You’ll coordinate care from admission to discharge, acting as the central liaison between clients and clinicians while maintaining high standards of patient welfare.

The role is predominantly based in our wards, involves complex referral cases, and offers a supportive, development-focused environment with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS registration and experience in clinical practice.
• Experience in client liaison and wards nursing.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent client-focused experience throughout the pet’s journey.
• Oversee admissions, discharges, and inpatient care in wards.
• Act as liaison between clients, clinicians, and administration for clear communication.
• Assist with audits and quality assurance within the hospital.
