Job summary

Gi Group in Arborfield near Reading is recruiting a hands-on General Operative. You will strip equipment, clean parts for redistribution, and help with picking and packing in the warehouse using hand-held scanners.

The role runs 08:00-16:00, Monday to Friday (35 hours). Benefits include 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible hours, on-site parking, and good public transport access.

Loading/unloading and yard duties as required, with a focus on health and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Ideally experience within a similar position.
• Happy with lifting and shifting products.
• Working within a recycling plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Stripping equipment - cleaning parts ready to be redistributed.
• Checking orders/picking and packing products in the warehouse using hand held scanner.
• Loading and unloading.
• Yard Operative duties as/where required.
• Ensuring on site health and safety standards are adhered too.
