Job summary

ctrg is seeking a full-time Recycling Warehouse Operative to join their Livingston site, EH54 8TB. The role involves handling trays, operating wash and baling equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment in a fast-paced setting.

Shifts run 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00 on a rotating 4-on/4-off pattern. Pay rates are Days £13.30 per hour and Nights £15.25 per hour, with holiday pay and a route to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

• No relatable experience is required - all training will be provided
• Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work

Responsibilities

• Load empty trays onto the wash machine ready for cleaning
• Unload clean trays from the wash machine and stack them away ready for collection
• Empty cages of cardboard onto the baling machine ready for condensing
• Ensure a hazard free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy

ctrg is looking for a full time Recycling Warehouse Operative to join their client's warehouse in Livingston, EH54 8TB.

This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process, as well as tray wash operation, for one of the leading grocery supermarkets. The site is fast-paced, and diverse, with plenty of development opportunities.

Your typical working hours as a full time Recycling Warehouse Operative:

• 06:00 - 18:00 & 18:00 - 06:00 rotating days & nights 4 on 4 off.
• Must have previous night shift experience.

Pay rate as a Recycling Warehouse Operative:

• Days £13.30 per hour
• Nights £15.25 per hour
• Holiday pay
• Opportunities for a permanent contract for the right candidate

Please note: This is a full time position therefore we are unable to accept any 20 hour visa restrictions.
