Job summary

The Recruitment Group is recruiting a Recycling Operative for a role based in Loughborough on a temp to perm basis. It is a hands‑on, physically demanding position focusing on sorting, weighing, recording and processing recyclable materials. Training will cover a range of specialist recycling equipment. Location: Loughborough.

Hours: Full Time Days, Monday to Friday. Pay: £12.71 to £12.85 per hour. You will work within the Recycling Area and be part of a team ensuring materials are correctly

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Experience in recycling environments preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day recycling operations in the Recycling Area.
• Identify and sort different types of recyclable materials.
• Weigh materials accurately and record information.
• Document materials in line with company procedures.
• Place materials into correct designated recycling areas.
• Move and handle materials throughout the recycling process.
• Operate a range of equipment after training (granulator, shredder, 3D printer filament machine, wire stripper, baling equipment).
• Ensure equipment is used safely and area kept clean and organized.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and work as part of a team.
