Job summary

SUEZ in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on site operative to help the public recycle responsibly and reduce waste going to landfill. You’ll work as part of a supportive site team to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible site operations.

In this role you’ll provide friendly customer service, keep your areas tidy, advise on maximising recycling, and maintain accurate records. A flexible approach and willingness to undertake training are essential to support colleagues

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake training including waste acceptance and equipment operation.
• Basic administrative skills to record data accurately.
• Commitment to Health and Safety compliance and SUEZ values.

Responsibilities

• Assist site visitors and provide friendly customer service.
• Keep assigned areas clean, tidy and well‑organised.
• Encourage recycling and maximise materials recovered.
• Maintain accurate records of material movements.
• Follow Health and Safety policies to protect colleagues and visitors.
