Pioneer Selection is seeking a Deputy Operations Manager in London to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy Materials Recovery Facility. Based in Wandsworth, you will oversee a ~11-person team, drive safety standards and ensure efficient processing of MRF materials.

You will manage production, quality and compliance while liaising with regulators and internal stakeholders; a hands-on leader comfortable on-site is essential for success.

Competenze

• Experience as a Supervisor or Manager within a process/industrial environment.
• Experience managing operational processes within a busy facility.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification – essential.
• Budget and financial awareness.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Transfer Station to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance.
• Lead and develop a team of ~11 personnel and allocate resources/contracts.
• Prepare weekly reports and manage budget adherence and cost control.
• Liaise with the Environment Agency and ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
