Job summary

Local Council is seeking a Recycling Operative to cover sites in Market Harborough & Kibworth. The role requires travel between sites, and a full driving license is preferred. You will assist customers with recycling and waste disposal, perform manual tasks, and operate on-site machinery as part of a team.

The position is temporary for 6 months with potential extension for the right candidate. Working hours include weekends and seasonal changes with summer/winter schedules.

Job description

Local Council are looking for a Recycling Operative to cover between their sites in Market Harborough & Kibworth, so transport and a full driving license will be required.

Working outside you will be required to assist and advise customers with the recycling and disposal of waste materials.

The position includes:

• Completion of manual work
• Dealing with the general public
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to operate machinery.
• Able to work as part of a team.

Commencing on a temporary basis, initially for 6 months, however will lead to longer for the right candidate

Pay £13.65 per hour

Working Days: Will be 5 days from 7 - WILL INCLUDE WEEKENDS

Summer hours are 9am – 7pm.

Winter hours from October 9am – 4pm
