Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Material Handler / Recycling Operative for a role based in Witney. Pay is £14.87 per hour, with hours Thursday to Monday, 07:45am - 17:15pm.

This full-time ongoing position involves operating mobile plant machinery and sorting waste materials at the HWRC, while upholding health and safety standards. You will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering excellent customer service to the public and ensuring a safe, clean site in line with

Qualifications

• A valid Material Handler qualification.
• Experience operating plant machinery (essential).
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating mobile plant machinery safely and efficiently.
• Moving and sorting waste materials into the correct waste streams.
• Supporting the smooth running of the HWRC.
• Assisting members of the public with waste disposal queries and providing excellent customer service.
• Ensuring the site is kept safe, clean and organised.
• Following all site safety procedures and environmental regulations.
