Job summary

The Church of England invites a confident Rector to lead St Mary and All Saints, Bingham, in a parish-centred, town-focused mission. You will shape a growth strategy, work with the PCC and diocesan personnel, and help recruit paid staff to support a five-year plan for renewed vitality.

You will build strong teams of staff and volunteers, develop discipling pathways for children and families, and align worship and finances to achieve the parish’s responsibilities with compassion and clarity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and developing individuals for leadership roles within a church setting.
• Proven ability to articulate a clear missional vision and grow congregations.
• Strong pastoral skills and emotional intelligence in diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the missional plan for St Mary and All Saints, guiding growth in numbers and faith.
• Oversee the creation of role descriptions and recruitment for paid staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with the PCC, diocese, and national Church adviser to implement strategy.
