Due to growth a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Recruitment Resource to join the Company's dynamic Business Development Team. The focus of the role is to positively engage and promote Total Training Provision's apprenticeship vacancies to prospective external stakeholders and organizations to potential apprenticeship candidates. This role has been created to support a proactive and innovative approach to apprenticeship recruitment.

You will be an excellent communicator with a passion for supporting individuals into our excellent apprenticeship opportunities and the ability to pro-actively build effective networks with a range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will work within the Business Development Team, which is an integral part of the business. You will attend recruitment fairs and other events to raise awareness of our apprenticeship vacancies, attending college careers fairs and engage with schools and academies to promote apprenticeships. Utilising and managing the bank of apprenticeship applicants and working with curriculum professionals to progress suitable students onto apprenticeships.

You will work closely with the Business Development team supporting the existing apprenticeship recruitment process, conducting applicant interviews, organise and conduct apprenticeship recruitment activities and awareness sessions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment and experience of generating candidates and applicants however full training will be given to support you to succeed in this role. Due to the nature of this post you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.

Role Purpose

  • Effectively and pro-actively engage with external stakeholders including schools, community groups, government bodies and business networks to grow and maximise upon apprenticeship applicant referrals.
  • Represent Total Training at engagement events including College Open Events, Taster Events, Jobs and Career Fairs, school learner engagement and any such suitable events.
  • To develop innovative event and engagement experiences to promote TTP apprenticeships amongst its wide range of client groups.
  • Work alongside the BDM team, providing an end to end candidate management service: interview applicants, creating shortlists, checking applicant compliance, ensuring the candidate bank is up to date and accurate, arranging and attending apprenticeship awareness sessions.
  • Liaising with businesses regarding apprenticeship vacancies where required.
  • Provide excellent advice and guidance to apprenticeship applicants, ensuring applicants are fully aware of their responsibilities when enrolling onto an apprenticeship and sign posting individuals to alternative education provision where suitable.
  • Responding in a timely manner to any internal or external enquiries.
  • Work flexibly to support the wider teams business development campaigns and activities.
  • Work to stretching targets for apprenticeship recruitment.
  • Work closely with the wider business development team, group marketing team, advice and guidance team and all curriculum areas.
  • Be a proactive member of the wider business development team.
  • To collect data from potential learners and partners, using TTP's CRM systems to store and interrogate this information for follow-up communications and reporting.
  • To gather feedback and analyze data to proactively improve the performance of all engagement experiences.
  • To create and work with the Marketing team to create promotional material for apprenticeships by opportunity and sector.
  • Deliver communications that support events including promotion of events and post event follow-up.
  • To undertake any other duties as may be deemed to be commensurate with the grade of the post KEY.

Accountabilities

  • To undertake such duties as are reasonably allocated, appropriate to the grade of the post.

  • To take appropriate responsibility for PREVENT and the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children and/or vulnerable adults.

  • To understand and adhere to company Health and Safety polices and guidelines ensuring compliance with statutory legislation.
  • Managing the use of TTP's digital apprenticeship service account and supporting employers via their DAS setup.
