Description

The Recruitment Researcher plays a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and securing critical talent for the business. They provide both tactical and strategic support to the recruitment team and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience. Reporting to the manager, they act as a central point of contact for the Recruitment Leads and collaborate with Hiring Managers, Candidates, and other internal departments to develop talent pipelines and communities that support company objectives.

Summary

One essential element of the role is to conduct proactive sourcing for open roles, including headhunting and pre-screening to identify outstanding candidates. The other is to build talent pipelines aligned with company strategic goals and create talent communities to ensure the business can secure the talent it needs to meet future objectives.

Landscape

The Resourcing and Talent team is part of the People Group and is responsible for identifying, attracting, and selecting key talent for the business. The Core Recruitment team handles hiring for FTC, permanent, and contractor requirements across all business areas, including executive levels. Operating in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail and the ability to recognize emerging patterns are critical. Close collaboration with other parts of the People Group, such as Recruitment Marketing, HR Business Partnering, and People Operations, is essential. The team works in a hybrid environment, using Workday as their ATS, with Outlook and Teams for communication.

Activities
  1. Work closely with the recruitment team and Hiring Managers to understand near and long-term business needs, building positive relationships across the organization.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs, prioritizing critical roles.
  3. Create talent maps to proactively build communities of talented candidates, conducting research to target organizations.
  4. Conduct detailed market research using channels like LinkedIn, external databases, social media, sourcing calls, and networking events to generate suitable candidates and build communities.
  5. Expand and update existing candidate pools through proactive research into target firms and markets.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with talent communities, engaging them through personalized communication and relevant activities.
  7. Represent the company's brand and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.
  8. Assist in developing innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent and meet ED&I targets.
  9. Conduct pre-screening, assess candidates, and write candidate profiles to determine suitability.
  10. Manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and effectively.
  11. Provide updates and reports on sourcing activities and pipeline status, identifying areas for improvement.
  12. Stay informed on industry and sector trends, competitor analysis, and top talent insights.
  13. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies related to recruitment and data privacy.
  14. Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring data accuracy.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills
