The Open University is seeking a Recruitment Operations Assistant on a temporary contract in Milton Keynes. You will join the People Services team to support candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including onboarding.
The role is hybrid, 37 hours per week, with start on 14 September 2026 and end on 24 December 2026. Ideal candidates are organised, proactive administrators who enjoy helping people and can manage multiple tasks to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator to gain experience in a busy recruitment environment, supporting candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Working as part of a team, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless candidate experience from application through to onboarding. This role would suit an experienced administrator who thrives on organisation, enjoys helping people and isn't afraid to pick up the phone. The team are looking for someone who can confidently manage detailed processes, stay calm under pressure, and take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
We are looking for someone who is an experienced customer-focused Administrator, who is highly organised and proactive. You will need to be a confident communicator and provide an excellent service to new starters during the whole onboarding process.
