Job summary

Sovereign & Bale in Selby is seeking a Recruitment Manager to lead local business development and build strong employer relationships across our programmes.

You will identify opportunities, promote services to employers, organise events such as jobs fairs, and deliver post-placement support to ensure ongoing partnerships. The role combines field and office work in a customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in B2B sales/account management/business development
• Experience in service delivery teams
• Comfortable with face-to-face and remote visits

The Role

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for creating and identifying new business opportunities within the local area by developing strong working relationships with employers and bringing on board new employment opportunities for people on our programmes.

Your main responsibilities would include:

• Identifying new business opportunities and winning new clients
• Promoting an awareness on services and benefits
• Maximising the repeating business opportunities through building and maintaining relationships with employers
• Working closely with Employment Advisers and Skills Trainers
• Planning and conducting events such as jobs fairs and employer days
• Post-placement support and account management

Required Skills & Experience

• At least one year's experience of and track record of working in a B2B sales, account management or business development role
• Experience of working as part of a service delivery team
• Comfortable with both face-to-face and remote visits
• Such attributes as: Challenge and Resilience, Flexibility and Adaptability, Honesty and Integrity, Impactful Communication, Planning and Decision Making, Selling and Influencing
• A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma in combination with GCSE English Language Grade B or above (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
