Job summary

Manchester United is seeking a data-driven professional to develop and deliver a Player Recruitment Strategy across the women’s and scouting departments, identifying targets domestically and internationally to help the team compete and win trophies.

The role covers Scouting, Strategy and Data Management, Relationship Management and Player Onboarding, with a focus on club values, collaboration, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological demands of professional football.
• Talent Identification / Scouting qualifications
• Full driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Scouting: Produce a target database of contract dates and values; observe targets; plan scouting calendar; uphold club values.
• Strategy & Data Management: Research leagues/players; support squad planning; produce player reports; design ID-to-exit processes.
• Relationship Management: Build internal/external networks; engage with agents; align with MUWFC practices.
• Player Onboarding: Lead pre-arrival planning, integration, stakeholder coordination, relocation support.
