Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Recruitment Consultant to join our Stockport team. You will manage the full recruitment process, build relationships with clients and candidates, and drive new business through calls and visits.

The role offers a clear progression path in a supportive, employee-owned company. Salary starts at £27,000 basic, rising to £28,000 after 12 months, with first-year OTE of £29,000–£30,000.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Confident speaking to customers and candidates.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivation to learn and develop.
• Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Experience in recruitment, sales, customer service or similar is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full 360 recruitment cycle.
• Developing relationships with new and existing clients.
• Generating new business through telephone sales and client visits.
• Advertising vacancies and attracting candidates.
• Interviewing, screening and assessing applicants.
• Matching candidates to suitable job opportunities.
• Managing client accounts and providing recruitment solutions.
• Building and maintaining a strong candidate database.
• Working towards realistic sales and performance targets with full support.
