Role: Recruitment Consultant - Transport
Company: Pertemps Recruitment Group
Hours: 8:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday (no on call)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Salary: £28,000 and above (DOE) plus desk commission & Benefits

Are you a confident, driven individual with a passion for logistics and recruitment? Pertemps Recruitment Group, a market leader in the recruitment industry, are looking for a Transport Consultant to join our dynamic team in Lincoln.

About the Role:

As a Transport Consultant, you'll be taking over a hot desk and will play a pivotal role in business development, and will be supporting clients in the logistics and transport sector by sourcing, placing, and managing temporary and permanent drivers and logistics staff. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same – building strong relationships with clients and candidates alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow a portfolio of transport clients

Source, screen, and place drivers and logistics professionals

Ensure compliance with driver legislation and client requirements

Coordinate driver assessments and inductions

Maintain accurate records and update databases

Provide a high level of customer service and on-call support (as required)

Previous experience in recruitment or the transport/logistics sector

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
