Interaction Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking an ambitious Industrial Recruitment Consultant in Kettering to manage and grow a dedicated desk across temporary, contract and permanent roles.

You’ll build client networks with manufacturers, warehouses and logistics operators, develop your market, and work with a supportive team to hit challenging targets and earn uncapped commission.

Qualifications

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Industrial Recruitment Consultant to join our Kettering team.

The Role

As an Industrial Recruitment Consultant, you’ll manage and develop your own client and candidate portfolio, specialising in the recruitment of industrial staff across temporary, contract and permanent positions.

You’ll be responsible for developing new business, strengthening existing client relationships and building a reliable network of high-quality industrial candidates.

From speaking with Site Managers and Operations Managers to sourcing warehouse operatives, forklift drivers, production staff and skilled industrial professionals, you’ll become a trusted point of contact for clients who need the right people, at the right time.

You’ll have the freedom to develop your market, backed by the infrastructure, reputation and support of an established recruitment business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, warehouses, logistics operators and industrial clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively grow your client portfolio.
• Source, interview and qualify industrial candidates across your specialist market.
• Manage the recruitment process from initial vacancy through to successful placement.
• Build and maintain a strong network of reliable, skilled industrial candidates.
• Respond quickly to urgent and high-volume industrial requirements.
• Understand client operations, shift patterns, workforce requirements, skills shortages and market conditions.
• Negotiate rates and terms with both clients and candidates.
• Maintain regular contact with placed candidates and clients to ensure strong ongoing relationships.
• Ensure all candidates meet the relevant compliance and right-to-work requirements.
• Work towards and exceed weekly and monthly activity and billing targets.
• Develop your knowledge of the industrial market and become recognised as a specialist within your sector.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Proven recruitment experience, preferably within industrial, warehousing, manufacturing, logistics or a related sector.
• A strong understanding of the industrial recruitment market.
• Experience within temporary, contract or permanent recruitment.
• The confidence to speak with candidates and decision-makers at all levels.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation abilities.
• A commercially focused and target-driven mindset.
• The resilience and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to developing new clients and opportunities.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred.
