Verelogic Recruitment in Swindon is seeking a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, develop client relationships, and source high-quality candidates across engineering or finance sectors.

The ideal candidate will be commercially astute with strong communication and negotiation skills, able to build lasting client and candidate relationships and hit targets.

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a sales / business development role.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. This role focuses on managing the full recruitment lifecycle, developing client relationships, and sourcing high-quality candidates.

The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting within engineering or finance sectors, or a strong interest in developing expertise within these markets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and win new business opportunities within target industries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Understand client hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions

Candidate Management

• Source, attract, and engage high-calibre candidates using multiple channels
• Conduct interviews, screening, and skills assessments
• Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process

Account Management

• Maintain and grow existing client accounts
• Ensure high levels of service delivery and client satisfaction
• Provide market insights and hiring advice to clients

Recruitment Delivery

• Manage the full 360 recruitment process from role qualification to placement
• Write and advertise job specifications
• Coordinate interviews and manage offer negotiations

Required Skills & Experience

Essential
