Job summary

Quick Staff UK is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our small, friendly team and help take the business to the next level. This is an all-round recruitment role, managing temp contracts, filling permanent vacancies, developing our current clients and winning new business.

You’ll build strong relationships with clients and candidates, recruit temporary workers and expand existing accounts.

• Ideally you already have recruitment experience and understand how to run a successful temp desk.
• Comfortable with the sales side of recruitment and proactive in winning business.
• Willing to pick up the phone, meet businesses and convert conversations into opportunities.

Quick Staff UK is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our small, friendly team and help us take the business to the next level.

This is a proper all-round recruitment role. You'll be looking after existing temporary contracts, filling permanent vacancies, developing our current clients and getting out there and winning new business. We already have established clients and plenty to build on. What we need is someone with the drive and personality to help us grow further.

What will you be doing?

• Managing and growing existing temporary recruitment contracts
• Recruiting and onboarding temporary workers
• Filling permanent vacancies across a range of sectors
• Building great relationships with clients and candidates
• Developing existing accounts and spotting new opportunities
• Proactively winning new clients and vacancies
• Making sales calls, arranging client meetings and following up leads
• Getting out to meet prospective and existing clients
• Managing vacancies from initial brief through to successful placement
• Working with the team to make sure we continue delivering a great service

We predominantly recruit within manufacturing, engineering, warehouse & distribution, office support and legal environments.

Who are we looking for?

Ideally, you'll already have recruitment experience and understand what it takes to run a successful temp desk.

You’ll also need to be comfortable with the sales side of recruitment. We're not looking for someone who wants to sit and wait for vacancies to arrive – you'll be expected to pick up the phone, open doors, meet businesses and turn conversations into opportunities.

You don't necessarily need to arrive with a huge client book, although if you have existing relationships and a track record of winning business, we'd definitely like to talk to you.

You’ll probably be someone who:

• Enjoys recruitment and genuinely likes dealing with people
• Is confident picking up the phone and approaching new clients
• Can turn a conversation into a business opportunity
• Is organised enough to manage temps, clients and vacancies at the same time
• Has a commercial mindset and understands the importance of margin
• Takes ownership and doesn't need constantly managing
• Enjoys winning new business and seeing a desk grow
• Works well as part of a small team
• Has a bit of personality and doesn't take themselves too seriously!

£28,000 – £30,000 basic salary, depending on your experience, track record and what you can bring to the business.

Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
