Job summary

Prospero Group, a multi-sector recruitment business, is recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Birmingham team. You will manage and grow a temporary staffing desk supplying teachers, teaching assistants and support staff to schools across primary to specialist settings.

You will pro-actively develop new business, manage client relationships, source top education professionals, and oversee end-to-end recruitment from engagement to placement.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial mindset and money-motivated attitude.

• Experience in recruitment or B2B sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through outbound calls and referrals.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools/clients to maximise repeat business.

• Manage the recruitment cycle from engagement to placement, coordinating bookings.
• Advise clients on salary benchmarking and recruitment trends.

Prospero Group are recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our brilliant Birmingham team!

As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage and grow a temporary staffing desk, supplying teachers, teaching assistants and support staff to primary, secondary, and specialist schools.

What You'll Do:

• Business Development: Proactively develop new business opportunities through outbound sales calls, networking, referrals, and client visits.
• Client Relationship Management: Develop strong and lasting relationships with schools. Maintain regular contact with existing clients to maximise repeat business and identify additional staffing opportunities
• Candidate Sourcing: Source, interview, and register high-quality education professionals, including teachers, teaching assistants, cover supervisors, and support staff.
• End-to-End Recruitment Process: Manage the recruitment cycle from initial client engagement through to candidate placement, ensuring a seamless process for both clients and candidates. Coordinate daily bookings, last-minute cover requests, and emergency staffing requirements efficiently.
• Consultative Expertise: be an expert in your area and advise clients on recruitment trends, salary benchmarking, and solutions. Negotiate rates, terms of business, and placement details with clients and candidates
