Recruitment Consultant

£23,000 - £30,000 basic salary, plus uncapped commission structure.

Marston Green – B37 (fully office-based).

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to work in a Birmingham-based small, busy and fast-paced recruitment business.

The role of Recruitment Consultant will be a 360-recruitment role, and the successful candidate will be running their own desk. We are seeking a candidate with experience in either Permanent or Temporary recruitment.

The role requires an outgoing and confident candidate who possesses a strong work ethic and enjoys working as part of a bubbly team. The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking on the telephone and making outbound calls, with a proactive approach to the client and candidate experience.

Excellent communication skills and a positive approach are essential.

Main duties of the Recruitment Consultant will include:

1. Recruiting and resourcing candidates.
2. Interviewing and registering candidates.
3. Managing and building strong working relationships with candidates and clients.
4. Canvassing current companies to seek new job opportunities.
5. Canvassing new and potential clients.
6. Visiting customers to build on relationships.
7. Completing all administration and right-to-work checks.
8. Offering CV and interview advice.
9. Assisting and managing candidates through the interview process.
10. Negotiating on candidate salaries and packages.

We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in Recruitment, either temporary or permanent.

This opportunity will be working in a modern office within a serviced office building in Birmingham (B37) with free on-site parking.
