Job summary

Chelsea FC is seeking a Recruitment Analyst to join our fast‑paced Scouting & Recruitment team. You will combine video analysis, performance data, and scouting intelligence to identify and assess elite football talent globally, transforming complex information into clear insights for recruitment decisions.

In this role you will support stakeholders, produce dossiers, and present findings that help Chelsea remain at the forefront of modern talent identification.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Performance Analysis, Recruitment Analysis, or a similar football-focused analytical role.
  • Degree in Sports Analysis, Sport Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of video analysis software, particularly Piero and/or Hudl Studio.
  • Proven ability to interpret performance data and translate findings into clear recruitment recommendations.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Outstanding football knowledge, including player development pathways, recruitment processes, and performance analysis methodologies.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • FA Talent ID Level 3 qualification is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a demanding, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the identification, monitoring, and assessment of prospective players across a variety of global markets and territories.
  • Create high-quality video analysis packages using professional telestration software, aligned to positional and recruitment profiles.
  • Produce comprehensive player dossiers, scouting reports, and recruitment assessments.
  • Develop engaging and impactful presentations that communicate complex insights to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse and interpret multiple sources of information, including technical and tactical data, physical performance metrics, scout observations and reports, and positional/recruitment trends.
  • Manage and maintain recruitment shortlists using position-specific and regional scouting intelligence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Scouting & Recruitment Department to support strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to established recruitment processes, governance, and departmental protocols.
  • Contribute positively to an inclusive, collaborative culture that champions Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Are you passionate about football, player recruitment, and performance analysis? We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Analyst to join our ambitious and forward-thinking Scouting & Recruitment team.
