As a Scouting Insights Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the club’s player recruitment strategy through data-driven analysis and insight. You will join a progressive Football Insights department, working closely with scouts, recruitment staff and football leadership to identify, evaluate and monitor talent across global markets. Your job is to turn complex football data into actionable intelligence that helps the club make better recruitment decisions.
The department’s mission is to understand football better than our rivals and turn that understanding into decisions that win matches and trophies. We achieve this by combining innovative quantitative methods, football expertise and cutting‑edge technology to create a competitive advantage in talent identification, player evaluation and squad building.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between advanced data analysis and scouting operations, embedding evidence‑based practice throughout the recruitment process. You will develop and apply statistical models to identify emerging talent, evaluate player performance and uncover market opportunities that align with the club’s football methodology and long‑term strategic objectives.
You will work on exploratory and research‑driven projects using event and tracking data that challenge conventional thinking and generate new knowledge for the scouting department. Your insights will directly influence recruitment strategy, support critical decision‑making and help ensure the club remains at the forefront of player identification and assessment.
