Job summary

Prestigious University in Worcester is seeking a Recruitment Advisor to join its Human Resources team. The role is a 6 months fixed-term contract (extension up to 12 months) with a full-time pattern, offering a salary range of 31,236 to 37,694 pounds and potential progression to 41,064 pounds.

You will collaborate with hiring managers, oversee end-to-end recruitment, coach panels on best practices, analyse trends, and promote inclusive hiring while shaping an engaging employee value proposition.

  • Conduct job evaluations to ensure fair roles and descriptions.
  • Contribute to recruitment campaigns and EVPs, using social media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Recruiting Managers: Work closely with various departments to establish effective advertising and selection strategies that ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process.
  • Oversee Recruitment Processes: Manage all aspects of recruitment activities-from crafting compelling job advertisements to ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Coach and Train: Provide one-on-one and group training sessions to recruiting managers and interview panels on best practises in recruitment and selection.
  • Monitor and Report: Analyse recruitment data and trends, providing insightful reports to the Recruitment Manager to identify areas for improvement.
  • Job Evaluation: Conduct job evaluations using the university's framework to ensure consistency and fairness in job roles and descriptions.
  • Enhance Recruitment Strategies: Contribute to the development of innovative recruitment campaigns, focusing on a strong employee value proposition and utilising social media to attract top talent.
  • Support Diversity and Inclusion: Uphold the university's commitment to equality and diversity in all recruitment practises.
