As an employed member of the service, you will work alongside Health Visiting teams, schools, GP practices and partner agencies to deliver care.

Are you a registered nurse or midwife with at least one year's post-registration experience looking to develop your career in Public Health Nursing? We are pleased to offer an opportunity to undertake theSpecialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) Health Visiting programme, commencing7 December 2026. This fully funded 12-month programme will prepare you for autonomous public health practice, supporting children and families and helping to reduce health inequalities. You will receive high-quality practice supervision within our Health Visiting teams and academic support from the University of Greenwich. As an employed member of the service, you will develop the knowledge and skills required for safe and effective SCPHN practice while working alongside schools, Family Hubs, GP practices and other partner agencies to deliver evidence-based care. Successful applicants will be salaried throughout the programme, with progression to a substantiveBand 6 SCPHN (Health Visitor) role on successful completion. Your base location will be confirmed following interview and offer. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
