Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a Recovery Worker in Crewe for a 3-month full-time contract, working Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. The role supports service users from referral through treatment and recovery in the Substance Misuse field.

You will undertake risk assessments, recovery planning, and regular reviews, delivering harm reduction interventions and facilitating group sessions to guide service users on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Education at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care, Substance Misuse, Counselling, Community Work, or related field.
• Desirable training in recovery, safeguarding, or substance misuse.
• Experience supporting individuals with drug/alcohol misuse and related challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from referral through treatment and recovery.
• Conduct comprehensive risk and recovery planning with regular reviews.
• Deliver harm reduction interventions to reduce risks.
• Facilitate structured group sessions and psychosocial recovery programmes.
