Job description

Service Care Solutions is currently working with a charity to fill a Temporary Recovery Worker position. This role involves closely managing a caseload of clients with alcohol misuse issues. The position is for 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days.

Pay Rates

• Up to £16.59 PAYE per hour (exclusive of holiday pay)
• £18.59 PAYE per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
• £21 Umbrella rate per hour

Responsibilities of a Recovery Worker

• Completing comprehensive assessments
• Managing a high caseload of complex cases
• Developing care plans and risk assessments
• Working closely with substance misuse clients known to the service
• Enabling service users to access education, employment, health services, and wellbeing & recovery support activities

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of completing comprehensive assessments
• Experience managing a high caseload of complex clients
• Ability to manage a caseload of clients with alcohol and substance misuse issues
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• Ability to identify risks and take appropriate actions
