Apricus Resourcing is working with a leading charity seeking a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker. In this role, you will contribute to transforming lives within a prominent charitable organization in Harrogate.

As a dedicated Recovery Worker, you will provide compassionate care and structured support to individuals overcoming addiction. Your role is crucial in creating a safe and nurturing environment, helping service users regain control and pursue recovery. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5, based on your preference.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by those affected by substance misuse. A background in health or social care, with experience in a similar role, is essential for delivering effective support plans tailored to individual needs. Excellent communication skills are critical for building trust and rapport with service users.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Conduct assessments to identify service users' needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans.
  • Facilitate group sessions and one-to-one support.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and external agencies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Manage front-of-house duties, including taking referrals and creating patient records.
  • Complete assessments face-to-face with clients.
  • Develop care plans and conduct risk assessments.
