Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Recovery Worker in Peterborough to support recovery-focused harm reduction and psycho-social interventions.

Join a small, collaborative team delivering structured one-to-one and group programmes. You will assess needs, manage caseloads, and liaise with external agencies to sustain service user change and recovery journeys.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience delivering recovery-focused harm reduction and psycho-social interventions.
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads with one-to-one and group programme support.
  • Competence in conducting essential assessments including risk and safeguarding.
  • Strong partnership and team-working abilities.
  • Confident working independently with clear communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver recovery-focused harm reduction and psycho-social interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide structured one-to-one support and facilitate group programmes to empower change.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments including risk and safeguarding evaluations.
  • Establish strong partnership working with external agencies and local partners.
  • Balance autonomous work with contributing to a small, collaborative team.
  • Communicate effectively to motivate service users to embrace and sustain change.
