Recovery Worker
Location: Kendal, Cumbria
Salary: £24,570 per annum
Hours: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Chapel View is a mental health, supported housing, and community-based service operating on a recovery model. We support people with mental ill health to access local community services, including outreach, peer support, and supported housing. We have been serving the area for several years, offering a staffed service to residents aged 18 and above.
We understand that recovery looks different for everyone. With the right support at the right time, recovery is possible for all. As a Recovery Worker, you will help and inspire service users to maintain their tenancy and independence, working with them to develop personalized support plans to achieve their goals, whether developing domestic and financial skills or accessing work, leisure, or educational opportunities.
No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided. Candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience are welcomed. More importantly, you should have a caring and compassionate nature, empathy, enthusiasm, and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. You must be willing to participate in a weekly rota and be available for on-call duties.
