Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Support Time Recovery Worker to join the Assertive Outreach Team. You will help deliver individualised plans and support patients in the community to promote recovery and well-being.

Applicants should have experience with people with serious mental illness, be able to travel in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, and hold a valid UK driving licence. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people with SMI in various settings.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and the Mental Health Capacity Act.

Responsibilities

• Discuss, formulate and deliver individualised plans in the community.
• Support patients and promote recovery within their community environment.
• Maintain rapport with patients, carers and a broad range of agencies.
