Zusammenfassung

Oasis Bradford is seeking a Day/Night Support Worker to join our recovery centre in Bradford. This permanent, full-time role covers day and night shifts, with a rotating pattern, including 07:30–20:00 and 19:30–08:00.

You will work to support clients on recovery plans, maintain records, and collaborate with the therapeutic team. Benefits include PDP, training, pension, on-site parking and Blue Light discounts.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to undertake lone-working safely and effectively.
• Ability to negotiate and influence effectively in terms of professional boundaries.
• Ability to develop and review risk management plans.
• Ability to express empathy and a non-judgemental attitude with a calm, caring approach.
• Capacity to handle intensive and pressurised situations.

Aufgaben

• Provide advice, information and support to clients and referrals to aftercare services.
• Develop recovery plans with clients to address identified needs.
• Ensure clients observe programme rules and support staff in investigations including substance testing.
• Support clients with medication prompting and maintain medication records.
• Assist in day-to-day operation by helping clients with life skills, benefits and housing access.
• Support attendance at external appointments per care plan and assist with transport.
• Oversee intake, assessment and discharge interventions.
• Support the therapeutic team with risk management planning and reviews with external parties.
• Carry out duties in line with policies, QA strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records and provide timely statistics for evaluation.
• Assist in transferring individuals between agencies and services.
