Turning Point Scotland’s North Ayrshire Prevention, Early intervention And Recovery (P.E.A.R.) Service in Stevenston is recruiting a Support Practitioner. The role involves delivering person-centred support to adults with substance use issues, either 1:1 or in groups, with full training provided.

The post is based in Stevenston, 37 hours per week, permanent contract, and salary within £25,878–£26,843. It requires compassionate, inclusive engagement and participation in community-based activities

Qualifications

• No previous working experience is required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out initial assessments to build a person-centred support plan for each individual.
• Provide 1:1 or group psycho-social support to adults with substance use issues.
• Work alongside NADARS and other agencies to signpost and access services.
• Participate in drop-in sessions and community-based activities to support recovery.
