Job summary

Turning Point UK is recruiting for Advanced Practitioners to join the North East Lincolnshire substance use service. You will hold a defined caseload, supervise Recovery Workers and contribute to leadership and service development. The role supports complex cases and partnership working with external agencies.

You will chair MDTs and support safeguarding responsibilities. We offer a starting salary of £29,244 with progression up to £33,880, with structured learning and career pathways.

Qualifications

• Exceptional report writing and detailed case notes.
• Demonstrable experience in substance use treatment and recovery settings.
• Specialist depth in one or more complexities (e.g., mental health, homelessness, criminality).
• Significant experience in health and social care with risk management awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of no more than 2 Recovery Workers.
• Provide outreach support while ensuring Lone Working policy compliance.
• Complete monthly generic audits of Recovery Worker cases and discuss outcomes in supervision.
• Case management of people with higher complexity and varying caseloads.
• Prioritise Harm Reduction in casework and evidence in the care system records.
• Oversee issues relating to people we support during Recovery Workers' leave and maintain continuity of care.
• Build and maintain relationships with partner agencies and be the first point of contact for difficulties.
• Participate in weekly MDTs and guide treatment plans for service users.
• Deputise for the Team Leader during absence and chair MDTs or multi-agency meetings when needed.
• Engage in training to develop leadership skills and support career progression.
