The Forward Trust in Swansea is seeking a Recovery Programme Practitioner to deliver a therapeutic 12-week abstinence-based programme (Y Bont) at HMP Swansea. The role is full-time (35 hours per week) with occasional travel across South Wales and is based primarily on site.
You will deliver 1:1 and group interventions, co-facilitate across cohorts, manage caseloads and progress reviews. You’ll apply trauma-informed and harm-reduction approaches and coordinate with staff and community partners.

We're looking for a passionate and motivated Recovery Programme (Y Bont) Practitioner to join our award:winning team delivering Y Bont, a therapeutic 12:week abstinence:based recovery programme based on the Incentivised Substance Free Living (ISFL) wing at HMP Swansea.
This is a full:time role (35 hours per week), primarily based at HMP Swansea, with occasional travel to other sites across South Wales. This is a unique opportunity to support men in custody who are ready to make lasting change, achieve abstinence, and build a positive future beyond prison.

All prison:based roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and HMPPS security vetting. These checks can take up to 5 months to complete. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of both checks.
