The AA is seeking an HGV Recovery Driver to support members through breakdowns, recover vehicles safely and help them stay on the road.
You’ll work a rolling roster across varied locations, with 18 days out of 28 and two full weekends off. A Category C (HGV Class 2) licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card are essential; CE training may be provided if needed.

Salary: Guaranteed minimum c. £33,862 for CE (HGV 1) license, £30,490 for C (HGV 2) license
On Target Earnings: £41,000 for a CE licence, and £35,000 for a C licence
Shifts: Rolling roster, work 18 days out of every 28, with two full weekends off.
Standard Shift Duration: 9 hours and 45 minutes, including a 45-minute break.
Flexibility Required: While standard shifts are under 10 hours, end-of-shift flexibility is essential. You may be required to work up to 12 hours (including breaks) depending on operational needs.

To be eligible for this role you must live within 25 miles or 1 hours travel from the depot.
