The AA is seeking an HGV Recovery Driver in Colchester. You will recover vehicles safely, reassure customers during breakdowns, and work independently across varied sites while remaining part of a supportive team. A Class 2 licence is essential; a CE licence is a plus, with Driver CPC and tachograph card required.
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and bank holidays is needed. Depots operate with a rolling roster; standard shifts are long but predictable.

On Target Earnings:£41,000 for a CE licence, and £35,000 for a C licence
Shifts:Rolling roster, work 18 days out of every 28, with two full weekends off.
Standard Shift Duration:9 hours and 45 minutes, including a 45-minute break.
Flexibility Required:While standard shifts are under 10 hours, end-of-shift flexibility is essential. You may be required to work up to 12 hours (including breaks) depending on operational needs.
