The AA is seeking an HGV Recovery Driver to join our field team. You’ll often work independently across varied locations, safely recovering vehicles and reassuring customers during breakdowns, helping them get back on the road quickly.
A full Category C (HGV Class 2) licence, Driver CPC and a tachograph card are essential. You’ll be expected to work a rolling roster, with evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and to stay flexible for peak demand.

On Target Earnings:£41,000 for a CE licence, and £35,000 for a C licence
Shifts:Rolling roster, work 18 days out of every 28, with two full weekends off.
Standard Shift Duration:9 hours and 45 minutes, including a 45-minute break.
Flexibility Required:While standard shifts are under 10 hours, end-of-shift flexibility is essential. You may be required to work up to 12 hours (including breaks) depending on operational needs.

To be eligible for this role you must live within 25 miles or 1 hours travel from the depot.
