Job summary

Waythrough is recruiting a Recovery Coordinator for the New Vision Bradford partnership. You will manage an adult caseload across drug and alcohol issues, developing and reviewing recovery plans from assessment through to sustained recovery.

This full-time post sits within a team delivering collaborative recovery planning and case management. You will work with partners to reduce harm, support engagement, and promote progress through structured treatment and community reintegration.

Qualifications

• Experience with alcohol/drug problems or complex needs.
• Driving licence is essential for transporting clients.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards.
• Familiar with brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP.
• Able to deliver 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions.

Recovery Coordinator - New Vision Bradford

Location: 11 Temple Street, Keighley, BD21 2AD (no parking on site)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: 6 month fixed term until March 2027 (there is potential of an extension but cannot be guaranteed)

Salary: £25,877.80 - £34,240 per annum

About the role and service:

New Vision Bradford is a partnership between Waythrough, the Bridge Project, Project 6 and Creative Strength. Under this umbrella, the partnership delivers an adult substance misuse service for the Bradford District. We provide a safe environment for people to develop life skills and confidence, ultimately enabling them to rebuild their lives and become active, contributing members of the Bradford community.

We are looking to appoint a Recovery Coordinators on a full-time permanent basis, under the New Vision Bradford umbrella to work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers (drug and alcohol) across all stages of the individuals' recovery journey, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.

What You'll Do

• Manage an adult caseload of a variety of substance use issues, opiate/non opiate and alcohol
• Devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
• Facilitate and promote individuals' progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery.
• Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
• Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals.
• Scripting.
• Support the evening clinics.

To Succeed in This Role, You'll Need:

• Experience of working with people with alcohol and/or drug problems and/or people with complex and multiple needs.
• A driving licence is essential for this role, due to the requirement to transport people accessing the service, to appointments. Vehicle not essential as can be provided.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above or equivalent) or willing to work towards this in post.
• Understanding of and ability to implement interventions including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP.
• Delivering 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions.
