Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to support individuals affected by substance misuse. You will provide person-centred support, recovery planning, and coordinated interventions to empower clients toward sustainable recovery.

This temporary 3-month assignment offers the chance to work within a multi-agency team, maintain accurate records, and ensure safeguarding and GDPR compliance while helping local communities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in substance misuse, mental health, homelessness, criminal justice, or related support setting.
  • Experience managing a caseload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive and professional relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload from assessment through to recovery and discharge.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and personalised recovery plans.
  • Deliver regular key working sessions and progress reviews.
  • Coordinate tailored interventions to meet individual needs.
  • Signpost and refer clients to specialist services, including Housing, Mental Health Services, Employment & Education, Benefits Advice.
  • Promote harm reduction and safer substance use practices.
  • Complete risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
  • Support individuals to build resilience, independence, and long-term recovery.
  • Encourage engagement with community recovery groups and peer support networks.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, and GDPR requirements.

Hours: Monday to Friday | Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Contract: Temporary - 3 month Assignment

About the Role

You'll support individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency, providing person-centred support, recovery planning, and coordinated interventions that empower people to achieve sustainable recovery.
