Job summary

Hestia is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to support adults with moderate to severe mental ill health within the Barnet Community Mental Health Team. You will manage a caseload, develop recovery plans and coordinate services to foster independence, wellbeing and social inclusion.

Applicants should have experience in mental health, an NVQ Level 4 in Care, and strong communication and IT skills. The role values collaboration with clinicians, families and community partners.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a mental health setting.
• NVQ Level 4 in Care (or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills and IT literacy.
• Understanding of mental health, recovery and person-centred approaches.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of care planning, risk assessment and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload of service users on the Barnet CMHT.
• Develop and monitor recovery plans to promote progress.
• Coordinate support to promote independence, wellbeing and social inclusion.
• Collaborate with clinicians, social workers, families and community partners.
