The Reconciliation Officer role focuses on safeguarding funds held in trust for insurer and corporate clients, with careful reconciliation of bank accounts against underlying ledgers to ensure financial information isaccurateand clearly presented. Daily work involves close collaboration with internal teams, clients, and CRM colleagues tomaintainsteady communication and dependable service.
Strong analytical skills support the verification of accounts and operating data, with discrepancies investigated and resolved promptly to protect client money and uphold financial controls. Regular interaction with other departments helpsmaintainsmooth information flow and ensures client needs are consistently met.
Audit activity includes preparing documentation, supporting the audit process, and contributing to post audit reviews. A commitment to continuous improvement is key,identifyingopportunities to refine processes and enhance financial operations.Additionalduties may beallocatedat the manager’s discretion, calling for a calm, methodical approach.
