Everybody Health & Leisure is seeking a part-time Receptionist at Congleton Leisure Centre. The role involves front-desk duties, welcoming visitors and guiding them through their visit.

You’ll work 18 hours with shifts that may include mornings, evenings and weekends, ensuring a warm, professional welcome. No prior experience is required; a genuine passion for helping people and a friendly, can-do attitude are valued.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and assisting with enquiries at the front desk.
• Maintain calm, helpful and friendly demeanour in a fast-moving reception area.
• Greet guests, guide them through their visit and showcase centre facilities.
• Execute DBS checks as part of recruitment process and adhere to safeguarding requirements.

Our Receptionists are the welcoming heart of our centres, creating the positive first impression our customers love and remember. As the friendly face at the front desk, you’ll help visitors feel comfortable from the moment they arrive, guiding them through their visit and proudly showcasing everything our centres have to offer.

You don’t need previous experience to shine in this role. What matters most is a genuine passion for helping people and the confidence to greet every guest with a warm smile and approachable, can, do attitude. Our reception areas can be lively and fast‑moving, so staying calm, thinking on your feet, and handling a variety of enquiries with ease will help you thrive.

If you enjoy meeting new people, love making others feel welcome, and want to be part of a supportive, energetic team, this is a great place to start.

Salary: £25,087.76 (pro rata)

Location : Congleton Leisure Centre

Hours: 18 hours

Shifts May Include Mornings, Evenings & Weekends

Interview Date: Assessment centre on the 8th September, AM and PM session available
