The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a pooled receptionist for Care Group D on a permanent contract. The role requires flexibility to cover seven days a week and varying 24-hour shifts, supporting reception across wards and outpatient areas.

You will deliver a high-quality reception and support service in inpatient and outpatient settings, communicating effectively with patients, relatives, the public and a wide range of staff.

We are looking to recruit a pooled receptionist within Care Group D here at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. This is a permanent contract, which will requite flexibility in working pattern to ensure the service is covered 7 days a week and could involve working any time in a 24 hour period. You will be required to support all of our reception teams across the department which includes wards and outpatient reception areas. The post holder will provide a high-quality reception and support service within an inpatient and outpatient setting and as such, will need to be able to communicate well with patients and their relatives, the public and a wide range of multi-professional staff, internal and external to the Trust. To provide a support service to the technical staff, a versatile approach is essential and the ability to cope with a large number of different tasks simultaneously is a prerequisite of this post.
