Job description

The post holder will be interactive with the General Public, Service users, Nursing, Medical staff and other Trust Administrative and Clerical Staff. The Receptionist will be responsible for providing clinic administration and reception support to patients attending Outpatient Clinics; this will include greeting patients into clinic areas and recording the patient’s attendance.

The post holder will ensure all reception processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner to ensure an efficient reception and quality service to all users.

Main duties of the job

This post will assist in the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment for staff, visitors and service users, working within all relevant policies, standards and with particular reference to those relating to information governance, safety, security and service user confidentiality.

The post holder, when required, will support aspects of admin workload for the Memory Assessment Service, Open Doors and Inpatient services.
