Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Receptionist for the Central Youth Team in Norwich. The role is receptionist-based, office-based, 37.5 hours per week, on a 9-month fixed term period, with pay of £25,272 per year.
The successful candidate will manage switchboard calls, maintain confidentiality, support a busy team, handle mail, and book rooms while ensuring a high level of customer service and data quality.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Receptionist to work in our Central Youth Team based at 80 St Stephens in Norwich.
We offer a welcoming, friendly, and supportive environment that puts the needs and care of our service users first and provides a responsive administration service.
This role will require a confident individual who has experience of supporting a busy team and should have a good understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to confidently and sensitively deal with telephone calls from individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset.
To provide reception cover during working hours of Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Communication:
Operate the Locality switchboard directing calls or taking messages and ensuring all messages are passed on in an appropriate and timely manner. Provide a reception service, dealing with enquiries and maintaining customer service standards at all times.
Knowledge & Training:
Undertake professional development as identified in appraisal and supervision.
Enter and retrieve day to / from Trust Electronic Systems to support data quality and business performance.
General:
Log visitors in and out of building, allocating ID badges as appropriate.
Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
Ensure staff location system is up to date and supporting the Lone Working Policy and protocols.
Receive and process information from teams including typing, photocopying and faxing documents. Maintain room booking systems.
