Middlewood Clinic in Midhurst is seeking a friendly Receptionist to greet visitors and manage a busy reception area within a mental health service environment. You will coordinate the diary for meetings and events, handle calls and post, and ensure security and confidentiality for service users and staff.

The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with shift options Monday to Friday (8am-4pm or 8:30am-4:30pm).

About the role

You are the first face and first conversation visitors to Middlewood Clinic in Midhurst will experience. Your warm and friendly personality will shine through as you greet and assist staff, visitors and service users.

What you will be doing In this exciting role at Middlewood, a service for people with eating disorder, each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working along side the reception team your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post. Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges. There’s also a huge range of courses on offer to help grow and develop your career. We can also accommodate 8:30am-4:30pm.

About Middlewood Clinic

Middlewood Clinic provide care and treatment for men and women who have an eating disorder including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and atypical eating disorders. Our approach will be to restore a healthy body weight and address psychological problems during treatment. The Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) at Middlewood Clinic will be made up of the Registered Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist, Nurses, Healthcare Workers, Psychologist, Dietician, Occupational Therapist and Social Worker. The hospital will have 12 comfortable ensuite bedrooms and a variety of communal and recreational spaces including lounge areas, a light and airy dining room, activities room, visitors room, therapy rooms, therapy kitchen area and a lovely cottage style garden.
