Job summary

Long Field Spencer Academy in Melton Mowbray is seeking a capable administrator to work on the academy’s main reception desk and provide effective administration support to the school, helping visitors and staff and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Reporting to the Principal and Office Manager, the post holder will handle routine administrative tasks, support safeguarding and recruitment processes where required, and contribute to a welcoming, well-organised school environment.

Responsibilities

Long Field Spencer Academy is a small, vibrant and friendly community secondary school, located in the market town of Melton Mowbray, just 17 miles from both Nottingham and Leicester. Ours is a modern and forward-thinking school which embraces new opportunities within teaching and learning as well as offering a wealth of excellent extracurricular opportunities, some of which are unique to our school. Judged as ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2023). We welcome all visitors to the school and a visit is recommended to see the school in action.
