A local GP practice in Hull is seeking a Front of House Receptionist to work 16 hours a week. You will be responsible for welcoming patients, handling inquiries, and performing administrative duties to ensure efficient reception services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and social skills, and experience with System One is preferable. Flexibility and a professional attitude are essential.
Front of house receptionist needed for 16 hours per week over 3 days, all administration tasks, good communication skills, working as part of a team, ability to promote the services, creating a positive image of the practice, To welcome and appropriately advise prospective patients of the services within the practice. Understand and identify patient needs and requirements, through appropriate questioning, in order to signpost them to the appropriate person, in the appropriate place and time frame.
Strong listening, communication, presentation and social skills
To be a role model for the delivery of practice
Excellent communication skills aligned to a Professionalattitude
Experience with System One or similar public sector IT system ispreferable
An outgoing, friendly personality, and a desire to meet newpeople
Ability to understand Patients & colleagues needs and handledifferent types of personalities
Generating improved health awareness and access throughword-of-mouth marketing
To promote the uptake of feedback through multiple forms ofmedia such as; Surveys, the new NHS choices platform, and other feedbackdomains
Perform all duties in accordance with standards detailed in the Practice Policies, and safe working working documents.
Adhere to your workstation risk assessment
Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible at all times to meet the operational needs of the practice
Take responsibility for keeping yourself up to date with training requirements, and annual refreshers applicable to Primary Care
Laurbel Surgery is a small friendly GP practice, Covering Bilton and surrounding villages, extablished for over 30 years, currenly undergoing an extension.
To work front of house, Deal with patients in a courteous and effective manner presenting a friendly image to patients and other visitors, wither in person or via the telephone, undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the efficient running of reception services including the provision clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team.
Communicate effectively with patients, staff and other healthcare professionals.
